The storm which hit Durban 10/10/17 has inflicted severe damage to the Port.

5 STS cranes at Pier 2 and a further 2 STS cranes at Pier 1 been damaged/derailed

1 Straddle Carrier landed in the Bay

Stacks have been badly damaged in some areas and each Line will be notified separately of damages to their Equipment if any Some Structures / buildings have been damaged

Port operations are currently impaired whilst repairs are underway.  This may impact on export operations and sailing schedules.
