The Shanghai lockdown finally ended on June 1st after a ten-day period of progressive resumption. Consequently, the daily container throughput, which was running at severely reduced capacity in April, returned to 95.3 % of the normal level in late May, allowing a double-digit export growth and an import increase for the first time in three months ahead of the summer peak season.
